Pigment settles, gathers and creates unexpected variations across the paper, making the material itself an important part of the artwork.

An original work, finished by hand

This one-of-a-kind painting measures 9 × 12 inches and is mounted on a 1-inch-deep wood cradle panel, giving it a substantial, contemporary presentation.

The painted surface is finished with a protective wax coating that enhances the tactile qualities of the pigments while preserving the character of the original watercolour.
