Beaver has an exceptionally dense, plush underfur beneath longer protective guard hairs. The combination creates beautiful dimension and means every necklace has a slightly different texture and silhouette.

Just like natural gemstones, wild fur varies from piece to piece. The necklace you receive will not be identical to the one photographed.
Beaver fur naturally varies in colour, density, guard-hair length and texture depending on the animal and the area of the pelt. One necklace may be particularly plush and compact, while another may have more prominent guard hairs extending beyond the Fan.
We consider these differences part of the beauty of working with a genuine natural material rather than flaws or inconsistencies.
Every necklace is made with wild Yukon beaver fur purchased directly from Indigenous trappers. No farmed fur is used in our jewelry.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping
All orders are shipped via Canada Post. Orders that are received Tues-Sat are usually shipped the same day. Orders received Sun-Mon will ship the next business day. All shipments are tracked. Customers will receive tracking information and updates where applicable from Canada Post.
Returns
Items that are received damaged can be replaced but customer must communicate with us immediately upon receiving the damaged goods. If the packaging has been damaged, photos should be taken of the damage in the event that an insurance claim has to be filed with Canada Post. We handle these claims on a case-by-case basis.
If your order doesn't arrive, please contact us IMMEDIATELY to discuss next steps. Don't worry, you will get your products, we just have to file an insurance claim. We handle these claims on a case-by-case basis.
If you have received the wrong product or wish to make an exchange, send us an email so we can serve you in the best way. All exchanges are shipped at the customer's expense. Bespoke (custom made) goods are always a final sale. No exceptions.
No cash refunds are given. In the case of an exchange that results in funds being due to the customer, they will be given in the form of a gift card.
If an item breaks within one year of purchase, the customer can ship it to us for repair. Repairs are done quarterly which sometimes results in a slight delay in returning the goods.
