Description
These works are part of an ongoing series exploring earth as both material and subject.
Pigments are derived from soil, ash, and mineral; collected, processed, and bound by hand. The palette is not chosen, but uncovered.
Each painting is developed within a fixed form. The boundary is controlled; the material is not. What happens inside that tension is the work.
Every piece is one of a kind. It cannot be replicated.
Painted on cotton paper and released unframed, each work is signed, catalogued, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
A discreet embedded NFC tag links to a digital record of the piece, including process documentation and material origin.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping
All orders are shipped via Canada Post. Orders that are received Tues-Sat are usually shipped the same day. Orders received Sun-Mon will ship the next business day. All shipments are tracked. Customers will receive tracking information and updates where applicable from Canada Post.
Returns
Items that are received damaged can be replaced but customer must communicate with us immediately upon receiving the damaged goods. If the packaging has been damaged, photos should be taken of the damage in the event that an insurance claim has to be filed with Canada Post. We handle these claims on a case-by-case basis.
If your order doesn't arrive, please contact us IMMEDIATELY to discuss next steps. Don't worry, you will get your products, we just have to file an insurance claim. We handle these claims on a case-by-case basis.
If you have received the wrong product or wish to make an exchange, send us an email so we can serve you in the best way. All exchanges are shipped at the customer's expense. Bespoke (custom made) goods are always a final sale. No exceptions.
No cash refunds are given. In the case of an exchange that results in funds being due to the customer, they will be given in the form of a gift card.
If an item breaks within one year of purchase, the customer can ship it to us for repair. Repairs are done quarterly which sometimes results in a slight delay in returning the goods.
